Faye and Eva

It was hard to know what to expect really. I didnt know a great deal about Eva Cassidy apart from the obvious. I did know a bit about Faye Tozer. But putting the two together on stage in Eva Cassidys life story was a tricky one to predict. I can now admit to having been blown away by Faye Tozer totally. For about two and a half hours she stands on the stage as Eva Cassidy, belting out massive tune after massive tune - with a volume of songs, I am certain, far larger than any Steps concert she might have done. But aside from the quantity, the quality of Faye’s voice was stunning. It was an amazing show and an amazing evening and it seems to me about time Faye Tozer got some credit for the work she has put in since Steps split and she has made herself a serious theatrical performer. Truly special.
