Catherine Tate is keen to reprise her role as departed companion Donna Noble in a future series of Doctor Who.
The actress, who left the show at the end of the recent fourth season finale, told Doctor Who Magazine: “I knew that there would definitely be an end to Donna, at the end of the series.
“But had that not been the case, had it been open-ended, had there been potential for Donna to stay on for another series, I must confess that I’d have said ‘yes’ like a shot.”
Despite Donna’s mind being wiped in ‘Journey’s End’, Tate added: “Could Donna come back? Well, in science fiction, anything is possible.”
If you ask me, if the Doctor Who production team know whats good for them, they will take her up on this. Donna is too good a character to lose and her character has way more depths to explore..

Oooh, yes please! I can’t help but feel like the Beeb is giving us the shaft for 2009 though. With Doctor Who a series of “specials” and Torchwood all taking place over a week!?
What are we Americans to do for entertainment? I seriously doubt Heroes or Battlestar Galactica are going to sustain us.
