Underated Actors

Why it it that some actors dont get the attention they deserve..? And yet time and time again they pop up in films and on TV and stand out for their performance before you realise it is that same actor all over again. Tom Hardy is one of those actors. Ive mentioned him in this blog before when he played a small but brilliant part in the very average “Flood”. And then tonight I just flick the TV on and there a comedy drama on, and once again he crops up. “Scenes of a Sexual Nature” it was called, and once again he showed just how versatile and natural an actor he is. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find youve seen him in Star Trek and Band of Brothers amongst others. So why dont people like him, get more celebrated? And given a bigger more Hollywood style chance I mean… particularly when there are so many really average actors around…
